This database review of 61,267 people in the US found that meditation appears to be associated with a reduction in cardiovascular risk factors, including lower cholesterol, improved blood pressure, and less strokes. The authors note, however, that alcohol consumption, moderate physical activities, and exercise may be confounders or causal pathways.
