Low vitamin D levels appear to be associated with an increased risk of Alzheimer's Disease. The primary comparison of this meta-analysis study found a higher Alzheimer's Dementia rate for those with vitamin D levels < 50 nmol/L compared to those with levels > 50 nmol/L.
