Vitamin supplementation has not been shown to help with cardiovascular disease prevention or treatment. There is some evidence that folic acid alone or in B complex vitamins containing folic acid, B6 and B12 may be of benefit in preventing a stroke.

Comment: Of note, this study only looked at cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease.
