A 12-week exercise program consisting of strength, balance, and endurance was found to positively affect gait endurance and gait performance among older adults.

Comment: This study highlights an important issue: exercise is best when it includes aerobics, calisthenics, and balance training. Addressing all 3 areas is synergistic.
