This study found that Vitamin C supplementation at 6000 mg a day decreased the risk of a common cold in Korea Army soldiers.

Comment: Note that the common cold is due to an old, common type of coronavirus. There is some evidence that vitamin C may help prevent or treat COVID-19 because it also is a coronavirus. Currently, there has been little research into Vitamin C and COVID-19 but it is being used in some institutions and recommended by some physicians.
