Adult male screening: at 18 yrs+: counseling for diet, activity, smoking, alcohol, STDs, depression. Regularly check BP, BMI. Check HIV on all men at least once. At 35 yrs: lipids; At 50-75: colon cancer; At 65-75: AAA for ever smokers. Immunization are done per the latest guidelines from the CDC; typically includes the annual flu shot and at least one Tdap and then Td q10 yrs; zoster at age 60. Pneumococal vaccination at age 65; if done previously, allow 5 yrs to pass since previous dose. Men with HTN should be screened for diabetes.
