This study of 314 patients with heart disease found that dietary sodium was a risk factor for plaque vulnerability based on optical coherence tomography. On the other hand, they found that vegetables, fruits, dietary fiber, folate and vitamin C were protective against plaque vulnerability.

Comment: Once again, fruits and vegetables were found to be good for your heart.
