This study found that twice daily aspirin was superior to once daily aspirin in overall antiplatelet effect as measured by serum thromboxane B2.

Comment: This study did not find a clinical benefit, however, it suggests that twice daily aspirin instead of once a day may be preferred. Note that the total daily dose can be the same, but giving half in the morning and half at night likely is superior to giving the whole dose just once a day.
