People who have a religious affiliation, and practice their religion, were found to be more satisfied with their life and scored higher on tests for kindness, love, gratitude, hope, forgiveness, and spirituality. People with a religious affiliation that did not practice their religion were no different than people who had no religious affiliation in terms of life satisfaction and happiness.
