This study found that for men undergoing a single PSA test at age 60: a) if the PSA is < 1 ng/ml no further screening is necessary; b) if the PSA is > 2 ng/ml then ongoing screening is beneficial; c) if the PSA is 1 to 2 ng/ml then individual preference is recommended.
