Compared to patients with normal perfusion (<5% stress perfusion defect), the hazard ratio for an adverse cardiac event during a 4-yr follow-up period was 2.7 for patients with 5% to 10% perfusion defect; 3.3 for patients with 10% to 20% perfusion defect, and 4.1 for patients with a greater than 20% perfusion defect on regadenoson SPECT nuclear imaging.
