Compared to their sober risk, motorcyclists with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.03 percent had 3 times the fatality risk. At a BAC = 0.08, the fatality risk was 20 times higher compared to sober motorcycle riding. COMMENT: even if the blood alcohol level is within legal limits, the mortality risk is greatly increased in motorcyclists who drink then ride.
