Taking yoga classes twice a week was associated with increased physical activity, compared to not taking yoga classes. COMMENT: this study did not show that yoga classes were any better than classes such as dancing, weight lifting, or similar exercise programs. It only found that taking an "exercise" class (in this case yoga) increased activity levels.
